Mike Shields is an ACE certified Personal Trainer specializing in bodybuilding. He has been bodybuilding for 2 years and a personal trainer for 1. He has competed in NPC Muscle Mania and OCB.

J.D. Johnson
 
J.D. is an ISSA certified Personal Trainer. He specializes in training individuals in the martial arts, weight management and increasing muscle size and flexibility. In addition, J.D. has experience training athletes, people with developmental disabilities, seniors and people with no specific goal other than learning how to feel healthier.
J.D. holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in American/Chinese Kenpo with over 20 years of experience and over 2,500 hours of teaching experience. He is currently a member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as well as the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). J.D. also has a Master’s degree from the Anderson School of Business Management at the University of New Mexico specializing in Healthcare Administration.

Jeff Harwood
 
Jeff is an ISSA certified Personal Trainer. He studied Biomechanics of strength training at Cooper Fitness and has a degree in Nutrition from Stratford University. Jeff specializes in bodybuilding, rehabilitation, prenatal, and weight loss.

Robert Falato
 
Robert is an ACE certified personal trainer with a degree in Exercise Science from the College of New Jersey. He specializes in sports, conditioning, weight loss, flexibility, rehabilitation, strength, quickness and balance. In addition, Robert is a member of IDEA heath and Fitness Association.

Kathleen Cristiani
 
Kathleen is a certified personal trainer through the International Fitness Professionals Association. She has been a trainer for one year and specializes in weight loss. In her spare time, Kathleen likes cooking, mountain biking and exercising.

Yolanda Kyriacole
 
Yolanda is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (herbal and acupuncture) and specializes in supplements. She is a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCADM). In 2010, Yolanda won the Divas 2 Division of The Challenge. In her spare time, she is a host for a student from Seoul, South Korea. She also has an adopted daughter, named Athena, who is also from Seoul.

Benjamin J. Herrera
 
Benjamin is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He has been training for over a year and specializes in sports training and plyometrics as well as clients with knee problems. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys working out, hiking, bicycling, running and competing in sporting events.

David Bentley
 
David is a certified personal trainer through ACE and Fitour. In addition, he has his certification as a Level 1 Nutritionist through DotFit. He has over a year of experience and specializes in a variety of different areas including; prenatal, rehabilitation, body building, military, and athletics.
David is currently a student at the University of New Mexico in the Exercise Science program. He is also working toward a minor in Physical Therapy. In addition, David belongs to the National Physique Committee as well as IDEA.

David was a gymnast for 13 years before transitioning toward bodybuilding. He has been a competitive bodybuilder for the past 4 years and won both the New Mexico title as well as the Mid USA title in 2010.

Monique J. Schuh
 
Monique is a certified through the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) as both a Personal Fitness Trainer and a certified Special Populations Personal Trainer. She is also certified to teach KinesisTM. Monique has a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Family and Child Development, a certificate in Gerontology and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Monique has over 6 years of combined experience in the health and fitness industry. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, weight loss, muscle toning, increased overall body strength, balance, flexibility and coordination, improved ADL’s (activities of daily living), increased core strength and those who like functional fitness, Kinesis, circuit and boot camp style fitness training.
Monique has experience working with a variety of individuals, including; people who are physically fit, frail, obese, post-surgery, wheelchair bound, individuals with low back pain, stroke, polio and cancer survivors, people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia as well as anyone wanting to improve their ADL’s.

Chris Kirkpatrick
 
Chris is a certified personal trainer through ACE and Fitour. He is also a certified level 1 dietician through DotFit. Chris has been a trainer for 4 years, specializing in strength and conditioning, fitness, bodybuilding, weight loss and athletic performance. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active through water skiing, snowboarding and exercising.

Chris has been a competitor in Musclemania. In 2009, he was the heavyweight winner and won 2nd place overall. He also played arena football for 2 years; 1 season with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and 1 season with the New Mexico Wildcats.

Anthony Beard
 
Anthony is a certified trainer through ACE and has been a trainer for almost a year. As a trainer, Anthony specializes in sports conditioning, weight loss, general health and fitness, and flexibility. He is currently working on a degree in Sports Management. He is a member of both Ace and IDEA, and in his spare time, Anthony likes working out, skiing, snowboarding and cycling. He also enjoys football and has played it for the past 16 years.

Misa Romero
 
Misa Romero is a Personal Trainer with certification through AFAA. She also studied exercise physiology, nutrition, stretch and strength and kinesiology at UNM and is a certified yoga instructor through the Worldwide Yoga Alliance.
Misa has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. Her specialties include strength and stretch, core, stability, balance, and breathing techniques. In her spare time, Misa is a member of the Flamenco Dance Company. She also enjoys reading, yoga, cooking, hiking and listening to music.
Misa has performed and taught Flamenco for over a decade and has recently started teaching “Flamenco Fit” classes at Defined Fitness.

Greg Tyler Ewan
 
Greg is a certified trainer through ISSA and has been a trainer for a year. He specializes in weight loss, bodybuilding/competition preparation, healthy aging, rehabilitation and osteoporosis. Greg has a BBA in Entrepreneurial Studies with a minor in Nutrition from the University of New Mexico.

Greg belongs to the organization of competitive bodybuilding and Musclemania. In his spare time, he competes in fitness modeling competitions. He also likes to work out, cook, play sand volleyball and rock climb.

Antoinette
 
Antoinette is a personal trainer with certification through ACSM. She specializes in preparing people for professional competitions.

IN 1993, Antoinette placed 3rd in the Mid-USA bodybuilding competition. In 1994 and 1995, she was the runner up in the Fitness NM competition. IN 2009, she placed 5th in Excalibur Figure Class A and in 2010, she placed 4th in the same competition. Antoinette was also the featured athlete of the month for muscle4lifenutrition.com
