Monique is a certified through the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) as both a Personal Fitness Trainer and a certified Special Populations Personal Trainer. She is also certified to teach KinesisTM. Monique has a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Family and Child Development, a certificate in Gerontology and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Monique has over 6 years of combined experience in the health and fitness industry. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, weight loss, muscle toning, increased overall body strength, balance, flexibility and coordination, improved ADL’s (activities of daily living), increased core strength and those who like functional fitness, Kinesis, circuit and boot camp style fitness training.
Monique has experience working with a variety of individuals, including; people who are physically fit, frail, obese, post-surgery, wheelchair bound, individuals with low back pain, stroke, polio and cancer survivors, people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia as well as anyone wanting to improve their ADL’s.
